Must-have Baby Products blog series, Product Recommendations for Parents, Babies, and Kids
A month has flown by, and it’s time for the next in our series of babyark parents’ recommendations. This one’s a real treat, because it’s hard to argue with the good taste of Shannon, babyark CMO. 🐣
As a busy working mom to two littles of her own, CMO Shannon understands the importance the right tools can bring to make life easier. She knows where it’s worth investing in the highest quality, and where to spot value at a bargain. Shannon brings her eye for style and quality to the world of product recommendations.

Here are Shannon’s Recs:
-
OXO wipes dispenser. This is a purchase that packs a punch. I bought it for my first and still use it, and it looks brand new. You don’t understand how much you need this thing until you use wipes without it. You try to pull one out, and all of them come out and you’re shaking it and it’s a pain and a waste. With this, it’s easy, every time. And your kids can take one themselves, and not 35.
-
Nanit monitor is great. It has an app that syncs with your phone so you can connect even when you’re away. Recently when I was abroad on a work trip, I could still see my kids asleep in bed. It has a paid subscription that gives you insight into their sleep and what’s going on around them, and can give you recommendations. Especially when they’re babies it can really help guide you through stages of sleep training and understanding the changes in their patterns and provide relevant tips.

Solly baby wrap Everyone needs at least one good wrap or carrier. This one has been my go-to. It’s a great wrap for beginning when they’re small, it keeps them close, it cradles them, the fabric is super soft, and it feels like an extension of your hug. Freeing up your hands, and keeping your baby cuddled and coddled.

lovevery play gym Everything here has a purpose, with five developmental zones. Organic and ergonomic, it grows with your newborn into toddlerhood. When people ask me for my recs, this is always one that they thank me for later.
-
Fubbles Bubbles are the one thing everyone of ANY age can agree on, it would seem, including grown-ups of all ages. These bubbles are even better because the container is no-spill. Simple, satisfying fun. No puddles and cranky(wet)pants. Thank me later.

Miss Mouth's Messy Eater Stain Treater Spray Parents are always hoping for miracles, but we know that isn’t a thing. This spray, however, comes in strong to save what was previously not salvageable. Stain treatment spray that actually helps remove tough stains on everything from clothes to toys. I also recommend Folex Instant Carpet Spot Remover for carpets and upholstery. Together these are my one-two knock-out punch. Because kids are messy, but stains? They bow to my will now.

Magnatiles These are one of those toys that the moment you invest in it, you can’t understand how you weren’t convinced sooner. These are great for developing skills, everything from building to coordination to planning to understanding that things fall apart. And they’re easily portable and easy to organize, because we all know that the bigger a pain the “cleanup,” the less likely we are to instigate. We’re looking at you, all the Legos we’ve stepped on.

babyark Smart I not only drank the KoolAid, I carry around a pitcher of it. I’m in love with our babyark Smart convertible car seat, and so is our son, the younger of my two. To his sister’s dismay, he claimed as his throne the new convertible car seat, and he seems so comfortable, it’s hard not to be jealous. We love the car seat. Proof that Dylan loves it too? He fell asleep within 10 minutes of his first ride. This data point points to serious comfort.
