I love all of the safety features on this car seat! Every detail gives me so much peace of mind. I also love the magnetic straps and center buckle... Those are genius!!
I purchased the babyark car seat for my grandson, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! One of the biggest selling points for me was the option to buy one car seat with two bases—something you don’t often find with other brands. This was a must-have feature for our family, and it makes transitioning between cars so much easier.
I also love the advanced technology and safety features built into the seat. Knowing my grandson is getting optimal protection gives me such peace of mind every time we go for a ride.
I do have two small regrets: first, that I didn’t purchase this car seat from the start, and second, that I didn’t go ahead and buy two full seats instead of just one. Like most car seats, it’s on the heavier side, which makes it a bit challenging for me to move when my son-in-law isn’t around to help.
If you’re considering the babyark, I highly recommend investing in two seats if it fits your budget—it’ll save you time and effort in the long run! Overall, this is a top-quality, thoughtfully designed car seat that delivers on both safety and convenience.
I had been eyeing this car seat since before my youngest was born. I was impressed with the safety features, the safety ratings and the not-so-unbiased social media reviews and ads. However, I held out and continued searching mostly because I have a SUV with a teeny tiny cramped back seat that's honestly smaller than most sedans (Jaguar I-Pace). 20 years ago when we had our oldest daughter I purchased the top of the line Britax car seat and I still have painful memories of that monstrosity, the weight, and how it took up my entire back seat making the passenger seat virtually unusable. Figuring I could return it, I pulled the trigger on the Ark and boy am i glad I did! First and foremost, this carseat is robust... as it should be to keep your most prized possession safe. I also don't feel it is anywhere near as large as others have said. The overall footprint was no longer than the infant seat it was replacing, so if size is a concern, don't be.
The install was ridiculously easy considering the install uses rigid latch, seatbelt AND a rebound leg. Now about that leg... I couldn't get it to turn green, as apparently my seats are extra sloped. However, the manual addresses this and states to install the rebound leg anyway.
Now onto aesthetics: the thing is sleek. If you drive an electric vehicle like I do and you DON'T have an Ark, why did you even go electric? Really though, its a sci-fi bodysnatcher egg-pod looking thing with really sumptous but lightweight fabric. The hand feel is yummy. The magnets are genius to hold the straps back (why isn't this standard) although I wish they had taking a page out of nuna's book for the chest clip magnet. As it is, it is a magnetic Peg that slides into a circle much like a picture hanger does. Slightly cumbersome but still light years beyond the standard chest clip that would be a hindrance in the case of an emergency. The crotch strap is one of the greatest features of this seat in terms of functionality. No more having to wrestle the buckle out from under your baby because it is thin pliable and magically pulls itself forward when not in use.
Aside from safety, the most important factor for me is will my 7-month-old be content in the seat? I cannot attest whether it's the fabric or the shape or the fact that he is higher up and can now see out the windows but he certainly is more content. He prefers a more upright position and this seat has yet another genius feature: a button that allows the seat to recline into a better sleep position and can be done while traveling.
All in all, I am incredibly pleased with my purchase and I would recommend to anyone who is on the fence and looking for honest unbiased reviews, to give the ark a try.

I have been researching the safest seats on the market for years. I came across Babyark and bookmarked it due to all the safest features. I just had my first baby4 days ago and couldn't be happier knowing she’s in the seat correctly and that the seat is installed properly!

Love the car seat! It fits great in our smaller car and has advanced safety features. Also seems really comfortable for our baby!
I want to love this car seat, but sadly I am not as happy with it as I thought I would be. The buckle at the top is so easy for our toddler to undo. He undoes it every time he is in the car seat and I had to purchase a separate buckle from Amazon to try to keep him from getting out of the straps. If your toddler is an escape artist I do not recommend this car seat. The safety features of the seat don’t matter when they can become easily unbuckled. Additionally the seat is very heavy, which makes me feel better about the safety, but it is very hard to transfer between cars.

I am expecting my first baby next month (October 2025). When I began researching car seats safety was my absolute top priority. The babyark car seat is UNMATCHED when it comes to safety features. I look forward to actually putting my babyark to use next month with the peace of mind that my baby will be as safe as possible.
I have one for my car, and my wife had a pretty expensive seat in her car from a very popular, "leading" brand. while this seat is substantially more expensive than others, it is truly better in every way I can think of. First and foremost, it looks and feels more protective. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why the load leg is not a universal thing for convertible seats as it basically is for infant seats. This seems like it should just be a no-brainer safety feature. The fact that you have the load leg, LATCH attachments, seatbelt passthrough and anti-rebound bar, protective egg-shaped shell, the most robust side impact protection of any seat, and the highest rear-facing body weight, make this the safest seat available. The next most important thing is that it is definitely way more comfortable for our daughter than our other seat, per her report. The straps and the padding around the straps are never twisted and the pads are always in exactly the correct spot. The seat that has been in my wife's car is expensive and it is such a disappointing pain dealing with the twisted straps; for that much money, the straps and strap pads shouldn't be getting twisted--the BabyArk straps and pads don't. It is SO much easier to clean and take off/put on the seat cover; just zip off/on. And we have a spare seat cover for roadtrips for expected unexpected occurrences. There are WAY WAY less crevices for food to fall into compared to our other seat. Our daughter actually sleeps in the BabyArk for long periods of time, unlike the other seat or even her infant seat. And her travel milk cup actually fits in this cupholder, unlike the useless cupholder on the other seat, because the BabyArk one has a larger diameter to accommodate little kids' travel cups that have a larger diameter...Lastly, due to my work needs, and due to the fact that I park outside on a West-facing driveway that gets super hot, I frequently need to remove the seat and sometimes the base and keep them in the garage. It is just so easy to take this seat and base out of the car and reinstall them compared to most other seats that have a pretty involved, finicky and time-consuming process. This was a major factor in my BabyArk purchase. A perfect install is so straightforward and reproducible and takes like a minute. All of the other above reasons have just addd up so that we now got a second one for my wife's car. We hemmed and hawed about getting a second due to the price, but we also live in a natural disaster prone area and have had to evacuate on short notice and did not want to ever have the scenario where the one car seat was in a car that was not at home. It is expensive and not within reach for everyone, and it is big and may not comfortably fit in a small vehicle (due to front passenger seat positioning requirements). If you have the means and it will fit in your vehicle, you will absolutely not be disappointed. This seat really is that much better than everything else. They just thought of everything.
Had a bit of a rocky start with the app where it wouldn't pair, but they fixed the bug the next day. The seat was really easy to set up, even app-less! and it's nice to know I'd get a ding if she learns how to unclick the harness while driving.
It was very simple to install and baby seems so comfortable in his new car seat! It's great that it's so secure, the seat doesn't budge. I only didn't give five stars because it's pretty pricey and the leg part of the seat base is just a little difficult to get fully stable.
