Anchored in safety
The babyark is the ONLY convertible car seat that includes these 3 key features for optimal anchoring and safety; the rigid LATCH, the stabilising support leg and the anti-rebound bar.
Head Injury Criteria (HIC)
The HIC parameter serves to evaluate the likelihood of a head injury occurring to the passenger, in our case, the child. The maximum limit (set by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration NHSTA) is 1000 and is calculated based on the accelerations experienced by the head during an impact.
The lower the HIC result, the lower the chances of a head injury.
High-end materials
Our design consists of high-end materials such as high-strength steel. The babyark headrest contains D3O™ polymer that absorbs the brunt of the impact and is commonly used in the protective gear of race drivers.
BioArk™ side-impact protection system
babyark’s innovative side-impact protection system is designed with an energy absorbing element that mitigates the impact, diverting forces to the structure of the seat and away from the child’s head.
SafeCoil™ shock absorbing system
The SafeCoil™ system significantly reduces the force and forward momentum during sudden stops. The system's steel coil elongates from its original mode upon impact, extending the stopping distance of the seat so less forces are transferred to the child’s body.

This is my second car seat with BabyArk. I love them. The only problem I have is that the chest clip is very easy for a child to undo, and the fabric around the round part comes undone/unseen. That's really the only thing that's a problem. Love these chairs!

A chest clip is importnat in keeping the car seat's harness straps securely on a child’s shoulders. Some children may go through a phase of trying (and sometimes succeeding) to open the chest clip. This can occur with any car seat. The best solution is for parents or caregivers to work with the child to understand that the chest clip should remain closed while traveling.
It’s also important to note that chest clips are not designed to withstand crash forces; their main purpose is to maintain proper strap positioning. Ensuring the harness is snug and correctly placed will enhance safety.
We have been very happy with the product. Our child looks very comfortable and I really like the zippers and how it is easier to clean.
Great car seat, the magnets really help with setting the baby in without getting the seatbelts tangled.
I purchased this for my 4 month old grandson. He has cried in every car seat until this one! We have used it on a longer car rides and he is enjoying it. It is heavy and feels sturdy. The APP was easy to use and the installation was extremely easy. I feel like he is much safer in this than others on the market. He is 100% surrounded by the seat.
After months of research and reading reviews, I recently bought the babyark car seat for my 5 month old daughter. The advanced safety features are what appealed to me the most, being that she was still so young. I really like the seat itself. Easy to install with the step by step directions and she seems really comfortable in it. Doesn’t cry like she did in the infant seat. The app on the other hand is not great. Takes forever for the car seat to connect to app when you open it, doesn’t track rides unless locations are on constantly, which eats up the battery on my phone. Also did an experiment and it didn’t alert me that the seat was unbuckled or if she was left in the car like it claims to. Hindsight I should have gone with the classic over the premium. Overall I do love the seat and the crash safety features, just to know if the smart base is worth it.
We switched our baby to this seat at 6 months. He’s so comfortable in it and I love the safety features. We didn’t need the app but wanted this color. The only downside is that the seat/base moves side to side even when the app says installed correctly, I wish it was more secure. We had the Nuna pipa RX and that rigid latch and load leg was much more secure, the seat and base never moved in the slightest.

Regarding the movement you're noticing, it’s important to note that the babyark car seat, like other seats with a rigid latch system, may have a small amount of side-to-side movement due to the nature of the steel to steel connection , which is normal and does not pose any safety concerns.

The chances are you are considering this car seat due to safety rating. And it is unmatched but more than that, it’s soooo easy to set and use. Customer service was very helpful as well. The fabric, quality and setup are all seamless and we are loving it so far (and so is my 10 month old daughter). The magnetic parts in the straps to keep it out car seat so they are not stuck behind the baby is one of may fav parts and details. yes, it’s an expensive car seat but the attention to detail is with it. No other car seat has mechanism to help keep the straps away from the seat so you are fishing for them after you put the child in. Believe me at 10 months, it may not make a difference but then when they are 3-4 year old, it can be life changing ( I have a 5 year old).
We were rear ended and our 1st baby ark car seat kept our child safe. After the accident we ordered a replacement and we could have peace of mind that our child will remain safe. We really believe in child safety no matter the cost. Well worth the money!
Our babyark car seat is absolutely AMAZING!!! Easy to install. My baby does not cry when I put him in the car seat. The car seat is heavy and appears to be extremely well made.
